Maradona treated for breathing problems

Diego Maradona was taken to hospital yesterday with breathing problems, but was then sent back to a drug treatment centre and his life was not in immediate danger, a family member said.

"From what I know, he's fine. They did some tests because he was having some trouble breathing but that's it," Damian Lopez, Maradona's nephew, said.

Maradona had looked somewhat healthier in recent interviews, but photographs taken last week appeared to show that his weight has ballooned again.
