Straddled astride one of our splendid, newly reconstructed, billiard-table smooth highways is one of the new traffic-friendly roundabouts, with offshoots to the popular Golden Sands Bay (N), St Paul's Bay, Bugibba and Qawra (E), the huge dome-church at Mosta (S), and the sleepy, silent, ancient former capital city of Mdina and its catacombed suburb of Rabat (W).

It is suggested that this traffic roundabout be given the appellation of The Commonwealth Circus.

This is to perpetuate the memory of the historic and unique occasion of CHOGM 2005 Malta.
