The Wu Shu Ky freestyle kickboxing club recently held a series of demonstrations, exhibition fights and other light and full contact bouts at the Secondary School in Naxxar.

Also involved in the martial arts festival were performers from the Dione Boxing Club, Bertu's Gym and the Mgarr and Mtarfa karate clubs. Dale Hamilton won the Best Fighter award in light contact; and the top award for full contact went jointly to Pierre Tonna and Renald Tabone. Lino Zahra, James Galea, Bertu Camilleri and Ryan Agius were judges on the day.
