Mary Borg will be filling in the St Paul’s Bay council seat left vacant by Graziella Galea when she was co-opted into parliament last month.

Galea replaced Nationalist Party MP David Thake, who resigned his parliamentary seat after Times of Malta reported how his company owes some €270,000 in unpaid VAT dues.

Borg was elected through a casual election on Monday.
