To promote international co-operation in the field of scholarly and scientific research, Masaryk University in the Czech Republic has recently established a scholarship programme for students who are working towards their doctoral degrees and teachers or researches.
The doctoral scholarships are open to foreign nationals aged up to 35 who are currently enrolled in doctoral programmes. The scholarships are intended to allow their recipients to carry out research at Masaryk University and take part in the activities of the departments where they are received. They cover all fields of teaching and research at the university.
The application deadline is April 30. Successful candidates may take up the scholarships in either the autumn or the spring semester. The selection of successful candidates will be made by the rector of Masaryk University. The results of the selection process will be made public before the end of May.
