Season one of The Rise+ Podcast has officially wrapped up, marking a strong start for the project under the leadership of Matthew Camilleri and the ongoing creative direction of Mariah Camilleri.
The show pulled in tens of thousands of views, passed 1,000 subscribers, and featured standout guests such as Zach Muscat, Yazmin Zammit Stevens, Clinton Borg, and others.
With that momentum behind them, the team is now gearing up for season two, which promises a broader range of guests and new partners to take the conversation even further.

Expanding the format with a broader guest list
Season two will bring together Malta’s most driven and inspiring voices, from top-level athletes to entrepreneurs and health professionals, building on what started as a simple idea and turning it into a growing platform for meaningful conversations.
A total of seven guests will join the new season of The Rise+ Podcast. Among them is Neil Agius, Malta’s former Olympian, ultra-endurance athlete and clean seas activist, who will share insights from his record swim around Malta and the Gozo7 challenge completed in August 2025.

Rounding out the lineup, a panel of specialists including Stephanie Tanti, Colin Ng, Sara Borg and Matthew Spiteri will share practical insights on nutrition, injury prevention, mindset and brand building.

For the second season of The Rise+ Podcast, Matthew Camilleri has onboarded John Arren Kingsley and his partners to strengthen the production and overall reach of the podcast.
Kingsley is a serial entrepreneur best known for his work in stunt marketing and hyperscaling campaigns, with 20 years of experience in user acquisition and branding.
Across his career, John Arren has led several high-profile projects, including the European launch of the Nintendo Switch, the post-COVID recovery campaign for VisitMalta.com, and broke the Guinness World Record for the world’s largest raw cake in April 2016, weighing 338.9 kilograms.
"Maria knows exactly what a health and fitness podcast should feel like, and Matthew has the network to turn that vision into a standout platform," said Kingsley. "My focus is on scaling that growth, and together we’re aiming to build a community of 3,000 subscribers by the end of season two."
Under the guidance of Kingsley, JiKonsult.com will handle analytics and track user performance to better understand how audiences engage with the content. Direcut Productions will focus on YouTube growth and generate revenue through shorts and clips, while Omniserp iGaming Agency will take charge of Meta Ads, with a particular focus on expanding the podcast’s presence on Instagram.
