The Government has decided to go ahead itself with the printed publication of a telephone directory.

The Malta Information Technology Agency  has notified the Malta Communications Authority of its intentions.

Mita is currently collating information from all telephony operators, which are obliged to supply the information.

The information was given by Communications Minister Austin Gatt in reply to a parliamentary question by Nationalist MP Jean Pierre Farrugia.
