<i>F'Bahar Wiehed</i> remake

Net TV will broadcast a remake of Malta's first ever teleserial, F'Bahar Wiehed in its autumn schedule, which will once again feature Lino Grech and Gemma Portelli as Pinu and Goma, the two main colourful characters whose antics are still vivid in the mind of those viewers who had watched the first edition of F'Bahar Wiehed.

Media Link, the company which runs Net TV and Radio 101, yesterday launched its new schedule.

The police series Angli will be back on Tuesday nights. The third series of Angli will introduce new storylines and characters portrayed by established actors including Charles Thake, Manwel Cauchi, Nathalie Micallef and Charles Arrigo. Intrigues, car chases, explosions, deceit and romantic sub plots pepper the forthcoming episodes.

Karl and Romina Bonaci once again take up the role of the hoteliers Maurizio and Flavia in the comedy series One Star Hotel on Sundays.

The hotel's hilarious situations are given an added verve by George Micallef, Hector Bruno, Mario Micallef, Maryanne Muscat and Mary Grech.

Viewers interested in discussion programmes should watch out for the 9.30 p.m. slot on Mondays, Tuesdays and Thursdays. The programmes are Newsroom with Karl Stagna Navarra, Il-Vjagg li Jmiss, produced and presented by Pierre Portelli and JoeGrimalive with Joe Grima.

Children's programmes include more pranks from Mini & Griz who end up locked in a castle with no doors or windows. In order for the fairy to release them from the castle, they must do a number of good deeds. Minn Gidd Ghal Gidd revolves round the nine-month process of a woman' s pregnancy.

The popular programme Tghid Giet Hekk Hux?! makes a return, this time on Net TV. Watch out for more candid camera episodes.

Radio 101 is also packed with interesting programmes.

Andrew Attard starts off the day with Bongu 101, followed by Enzo Gusman with his ever popular Bejn il-Hbieb.

Monica Attard, George Micallef and Hector Bruno present the humorous programme Trio followed by Charles Saliba's Hitsteria.

Pierre Portelli's Nghiduha Kif Inhi is at 5 p.m. while Sports 101 is on at 7 p.m. Pierre Cordina hosts his daily evening news daily after the 8 o'clock news.

Weekend includes a number of interesting programmes such as Road Runner with Enzo Gusman, Minn Liverpool sa Abbey Road with Noel Mallia, Linjasport with Colin Fitz and Country Music Club with Eric Montfort.
