Megabyte appoints two business development executives

Megabyte Ltd, Malta's premier ICT solutions company, has added two new executives to its Business Development Unit to reinforce its market activities in a number of economic sectors.

The new executives, Dr Elaine Tabone Adami and Ivan Mifsud, will complement the current business units with focused activities to secure a bigger market share for Megabyte products and services. Dr Tabone Adami previously worked as remote sensing manager at an IT services company. In this role, she was involved in the commercial and technical aspects of Geographic Information Systems (GIS) and satellite mapping for both the local and international markets. Elaine holds a Ph.D. from the University of Cambridge, UK, where she specialised in GIS and remote sensing. Within her new role at Megabyte, she will be involved primarily in identifying new market possibilities for Megabyte's software solutions, including the adoption of new technologies.

Mr Mifsud has ten years' industry experience in driving leading ICT companies to exploit their potential in new market segments and territories. He furthered his studies in sales management strategies and in recent years was engaged in heading a networking team of infrastructure specialists delivering various large scale projects.

Mr Mifsud will be engaged to drive forward Megabyte's extensive capabilities in delivering business critical infrastructure solutions.

The collective mission of these new executives is to seek and identify new market opportunities by identifying customer needs and matching them with Megabyte's potential to deliver solutions that solve practical business problems.
