Around 100 participants packed the Portomaso Suite at the Malta Hilton for the "Integrate, Consolidate and Manage the Enterprise of the Future" conference organised by Megabyte Limited.
The conference was held to showcase the latest IT solutions provided by Megabyte as system integrator for Microsoft and HP products.
The event renewed the current debate on the future competitiveness of Maltese businesses and particularly the benefits of using the latest IT solutions when using products from HP and Microsoft.
It also served to expose in some detail the strengths of the 20-year HP/Microsoft Frontline Partnership and the value it adds to IT solutions for local businesses.
The showcase event attracted managing directors, chief executives, general managers, chief technical officers, information management officers and IT managers of several companies, who were addressed by a number of high profile international speakers.

Several themes were tackled with a sharp focus on the need to attain adequate return on IT investment (RoITI). Consolidation of IT assets, including the optimisation of storage, System Integration and, Enterprise Management software for true eBusiness integration were highlighted by both Megabyte's consultants and the foreign speakers. A case study of how Megabyte used the abilities of its own staff to integrate the products of HP and Microsoft, was presented.
