Those who want to have a glimpse of the car that was voted Car of the Year 2003, should go to the Trade Fair Grounds, where Autosales Limited have laid out a weekend launch with a difference for the Renault Megane II, reflecting a lunar setting which is synonymous with the Mégane's advertising campaign.

Car enthusiasts and prospective buyers may enjoy the Mégane's distinctive lines, while listening to Debbie Scerri, Eclipse, Pusè, Fabrizio Faniello and Roger Tirazona who will be performing between 10 a.m. and 1.20 p.m. and from 3 to 9 p.m.

Addressing the launch on St Valentine's Day, Mario Xuereb, general manager, said "the new megane II paves the way for a complete renewal of Renault's product line-up in the C segment, and describes the car as compact, expressive and dynamic with plenty of character.

The Megane II, which has already been voted car of the year for 2003, has also been awarded a five-star rating from Euro NCAP, for safety. The car is being offered in a three-door and five-door version with three engines: 1,5 dci, 1.4 and 1.6 litre. Starting price is Lm7,295.
