Melita launches new data services brand

Businesses wishing to interconnect their various locations around Malta and Gozo using secure data communication links can now do so via 'Circle'.

Circle is the new brand from Data Services, a division of Melita Cable encompassing a range of products and services including a secure network certified by Cisco (Cisco Powered Network), virtual private networks (VPN), network consultancy and design (Network Security Systems).

All Circle products and services use the latest Cisco MPLS-VPN equipment and technology with EuroDOCSIS cable modems providing Circle with the capability to deploy and administer scalable Layer 3 VPN backbone services to customers resulting in secure communication links between local businesses.

MPLS is rapidly emerging as a core technology for next generation networks providing flexible, connectivity, scalability, privacy and quality of service superior to other comparable technologies available.
