Melita has launched offers on fixed-line telephony. For only €5.99 (VAT included) per month, the company is offering the cheapest fixed-line call rate and 100 free minutes of talk-time with every new fixed-line subscription.
At just €0.012 per minute for calls to any fixed line network and €0.23c per minute for calls to mobile networks, Melita's per-second billing structure provides the best value ever, the company claimed.
Since its launch in November 2006, Melita's fixed-line telephone subscribers have grown exponentially. Currently, almost 50, 000 households, offices and families are connected to Melita's telephony platform.
"Melita's fixed-line telephone service is by far the most affordable digital telephony service available in the Maltese Islands. It is a fantastic product that provides access to the best calling rates, both for local and international calls. No complicated tariff structures, time bands or pulse rates - it is a simple, single, easy-to-understand, low-cost call rate, anytime, to any local landline," explained Stephen Wright, chief operations officer at Melita.
Customers can also benefit from offers when switching 21 numbers to Melita. New customers switching to Melita's fixed-line telephony can keep their existing 21 numbers for free.
