Melita, Msida SJ express sorrow at Cluett's death

Anton Naudi, Melita FC president, writes:
The committee, club members and players of Melita FC wish to express their sincere sorrow at the death of David Cluett, a pure product of the club where he had started playing football at a young age and had established himself as a very promising goalkeeper.

We would like to extend our heartfelt condolences to all his family and pray God to bless his soul.

The committee of Msida SJ would like to salute one of Malta's great goalkeepers of all times. We feel that it was an honour to have had David Cluett - a former national team member - as our goalkeepers' coach last year.

The professional way in which he carried out all his commitments made him a gentleman and we are proud that he had accepted the offer to join our technical staff.

We offer our condolences to David's family and friends. We are sure that he will be missed. Malta's football scene has lost one of its protagonists.
