Last year the Marsa Scout Group organised various activities to celebrate its 75th anniversary. On December 12 all Scout Group members took part in a church parade at Maria Regina parish church, Marsa, which concluded the celebrations.

Mass was followed by a reception for members and helpers of the Scout Group which served to thank all those who supported the Group during this active year.

Towards the end of the reception the Chief Scout, Vince Cassar, presented the Group with a memento as a sign of appreciation for the Group's contribution to the Scout Movement throughout the past 75 years.

He then presented the President's Award (Malta Bronze Award) to four members of the Marsa Scout Group: Pack Instructor Dennis Debono, Senior Patrol Leader Dorian Grech, Venture Scouts Gilbert Savona and Christian Micallef.
