My wife and I were privileged recently to attend two memorable events: Prize Day and the Christmas concert at St Benedict’s College primary school in Għaxaq.

These young children (especially those in kindergarten) gave their very best on stage, showing off their talent to the satisfaction of the audience, mainly parents and grandparents.

All the items were just perfect, especially the play about the evil magician. The hall was packed as it always is for such occasions, and I must also mention the beautiful surroundings of the school itself. It’s like going into a well-kept little garden with flowers, fountain, and fish pond… such a lovely little place.

All this would not have been possible without the driving force of the headmaster, who is supported all the way by the teachers, parents, and all those who in one way or another was instrumental this such a wonderful school.
