‘Mgħawġin’: a literary home for emerging writers in Gozo

The second issue of the print publication, featuring writings in Maltese, English and also Gozitan dialects, is being launched this week

A literary magazine giving space to emerging writers in Gozo is releasing its second issue with a launch party this week.

Mgħawġin is a fairly new print publication featuring writings in Maltese, English and also Gozitan dialects.

“There are few spaces for Maltese and Gozitans to submit their works in Malta, yet especially in Gozo, there wasn’t a literary journal currently open for business,” co-founder and co-editor Corrine Zahra says.
