Malta International Airport has made a donation to the Malta Red Cross Society to help the organisation in providing valuable medical assistance locally and abroad.

Chief executive officer Peter Bolech said MIA was committed to help organisations such as the Red Cross whose mission is to provide free assistance wherever there is a dire need for it.

Mr Bolech commended the Malta Red Cross for its immediate response to help the victims of the tsunami tragedy in Asia and augured success in the organisation's mission.
