The second edition of the Valletta Military Tattoo will be held at St George's Square, in Valletta on Saturday and Sunday.
The tattoo will host three bands - the Pipes and Drums Band of the 1st Battalion The Black Watch (Royal Highland regiment), the South Yorkshire Police Band and the 3rd (Cadet) Battalion Royal Regiment of Wales.
The Armed Forces of Malta Band, the Malta Police Precision Drill Team and the Malta Police Band will also take part.
The event will include a youth marching band from the Czech Republic and pageantry and military drills by various re-enactment groups.
Tickets, at Lm5 (children aged three to 12 years pay Lm2.50) may be bought from the Malta Tourism Authority ticketing booth at City Gate, in Valletta from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. and from 4.30 to 6 p.m. on weekdays and from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. on Saturdays and Sundays. Tickets can also be purchased online.
The tattoo, which is part of the Historic Cities Festival, is organised by the MTA which can be reached on 2369 6073/4 or 2138 1392.
