Mater Dei Hospital said today that Justice and Home Affairs Minister Carm Mifsud Bonnici was continuing to recover well after a major intestinal operation yesterday.

"Prof. Godfrey LaFerla this morning reviewed Dr. Carmelo Mifsud Bonnici, Minister for Justice and Home Affairs at the surgical ward of Mater Dei Hospital following his major surgery yesterday.

"Minister Mifsud Bonnici is recovering well with all parameters being stable," the hospital said in a brief statement.
