Former Prime Minister Dom Mintoff has been moved out of the intensive care unit at Mater Dei, although he continues to receive treatment in hospital.

Mr Mintoff, 94, was admitted to hospital on Thursday evening after suffering a mild stroke.

Labour leader Joseph Muscat, who visited him for the third time yesterday morning, said he had been able to have a long discussion on current issues with Mr Mintoff.
