Labour MEP Miriam Dalli has once again been confirmed as the most influential Maltese MEP of this legislature. Dr Dalli was the only Maltese MEP to be part of the list compiled by VoteWatch Europe, which ranked 100 MEPs from the 28 Member States.
This was Dr Dalli’s first legislative term, having successfully contested the 2014 European Parliament elections for the first time.
Dr Dalli was also recently described by Politico as one of 28 persons set to influence politics throughout 2019. She was also named as one of the Politico 40 – a list of 40 MEPs who made a difference during the 2014-2019 legislature.
