A Tunisian man was yesterday charged with the misappropriation of Lm4,000.

Fawzi Hamdani, 35, was also charged with defrauding Cheng Lianhai, Zhao Zhan, Song Peng, Cao Chunfeng, Chi Haibin and others of the money by claiming he would extend their visa, during the past months.

He pleaded not guilty to the charges and was remanded in custody.
