A German man was yesterday charged with the misappropriation of over Lm1,000 three years ago.

Magistrate Abigail Lofaro heard Albert Leonhardt Sigl, 42, plead not guilty to the misappropriation of the money to the detriment of Canadian Allan Diamond on and before May 2002. He was granted bail against a personal guarantee of Lm2,000.

Police Inspector Angelo Gafà prosecuted.

Lawyer John Cremona appeared for the accused and lawyer Norval Desira appeared for Mr Diamond.
