Missionary's thanks

I am Fr Alex Busuttil, Maltese missionary, member of the Missionary Society of St Paul working in new settlements on the outskirts of the city of Arequipa, Peru.

The area is a very poor one and is very primitive, in the sense that it lacks all basic organisation such as that of potable water, drainage, electricity, transportation, health- care and education.

The people are basically mountain people who migrate to find better conditions in the city. In many cases reality shows exactly the opposite. The Missionary Society of St Paul is doing its best to improve the very difficult living conditions of the people of the area.

On this occasion I together with the people whom I serve, would like to thank in a very special way the Mission Fund which very generously have contributed to converting and implementing a bus into a mobile clinic.
