From a monkey rescuing a monkey in India, to a dog show in Cairo featuring Siberian huskies -- it may take a German snowstorm to cool them all off in this week's animal roundup. Gavino Garay reports.

A heroic rescue after a monkey fell unconscious after it struck electrical wiring at an Indian train station, leaving onlookers in awe.

Those monkeys might enjoy the same fate as this orangutan in the Buenos Aires Zoo.

An Argentine court ruled Sandra - the 29-year-old orangutan - as a "non-human person" unlawfully deprived of freedom.

From monkeys, we move on to Siberian Huskies in the sweltering Cairo heat, where organizers are hoping to raise awareness about their breeds.

But perhaps those sled-towing dogs might rather be playing with these hounds southern Germany, where a snowstorm is giving them the time of their lives.
