To meet the demand on the London Gatwick - Malta route, British Airways franchise carrier GB Airways will add an extra weekly service in March, bringing the number of weekly services to eight.

British Airways will also be launching five new services from Manchester to Malta commencing May 16 and will operate up to 12 weekly services a week from London Gatwick to Malta in the summer peak.
