The music of Italian composer Ennio Morricone, famous for his unforgettable film scores, will feature during an Evenings on Campus event at the Atriju Vassalli, the university, tal-Qroqq on August 20, at 8.45 p.m.

A selection of the composer's works will be performed live by an ensemble of musicians who have been brought together to recreate the magic of Morricone's music.

Tickets at Lm2 each may be bought from the precincts office of the university or at the door before the performance.

The film Shadow of the Vampire will be screened on Wednesday as part of the film festival within the Evenings on Campus programme.

Screening will be held at the Erin Serracino Inglott Hall of the university at 8.45 p.m.

The drama/horror film is directed by E. Elias Merhige and is rated for persons aged 16 and over.

The film is about the shooting of a classic vampire movie "Nosferatu" in Eastern Europe in 1922 which is disrupted not only by funding problems but by disappearances and deaths among the cast and crew.
