A Mosta couple yesterday filed a judicial letter in the Civil Court holding the directors of the Roads and Works departments and the Mosta local council liable in damages.

Leo and Sarah Chetcuti Caruana claimed their home had been flooded with sewage on November 6, and that this was the result of works carried out by respondents on the sewage system of the road where they lived.

They added that their home, which they owned, had sustained extensive damages, and they called upon respondents to meet for the liquidation of the damages sustained within one week.

Dr Stefan Zrinzo Azzopardi signed the letter.
