Mother and two-year-old son slightly injured after car overturns in Marsaxlokk

The accident took place at 5pm on Monday

A 25-year-old woman and her two-year-old son suffered from slight injuries after her car crashed and overturned in Marsaxlokk on Monday afternoon. 

The police said the accident happened in Triq Għar Dalam when a Nissan March collided with a Jeep Renegade driven by a 64-year-old woman from Marsaxlokk. The Nissan March flipped over and landed on its roof. 

The collision occurred at around 5pm.

The 25-year-old woman and her son, both from Birżebbuġia, were taken to Mater Dei Hospital and treated for slight injuries.
