Mother wanted by court and missing eight-year-old son found

Police say Lorraine Bonavia and eight-year-old Khyl Agius Bonavia are no longer missing

A mother who was wanted by court order and her eight-year-old son are no longer missing following a police public appeal several weeks ago.

The police had issued an appeal on June 16 about Lorraine Bonavia who was wanted by order of the judge in connection with a court sentence.

On July 9, the police issued a second appeal for her son Khyl Agius Bonavia who was reported missing.

The two were last seen together in Mosta.

On Saturday, the police said the mother and son had been found.

The police thanked the public for their assistance.
