Her boyfriend, Daryl Cauchi, later wrote a moving tribute on Facebook.
"For once in my life, I cannot believe I'm sitting here powerless over such a situation," he wrote.
"You were and always will be the best thing that ever happened to me! Never to be forgotten and never to be replaced! You sacrificed so much and supported me in everything I ever dreamt of doing.
"To all those who are reading this: A word of advice, don't sacrifice so much to try and reach goals that are set far apart, it's a gamble that's not worth the risk... and always treat and cherish your loved ones as if it's your last moment together.
"Today at 7.45am just like every other day of the week just before she was off to work. I had to experience receiving the last morning kiss from the the one true person that showed me the feeling of love like none other.
"Till a few hours ago i had it all, couldn't wish for anything else.... Certain I was sharing my life with my true soulmate, understanding each other in ever single way, working hard and setting goals to travel the world.
"Now... facing a terrible feeling that cannot be described by words. Such a disgraceful death to such a wonderful person.
"Left only with memories of us sharing the greatest moments and adventures of my life!"
