Motorcyclist hospitalised after Pembroke crash

The incident happened at around 4.45pm

A motorcyclist was taken to Mater Dei Hospital with grievous injuries on Sunday afternoon following a crash on the coast road. 

The crash on Triq Sant Andrija in Pembroke happened at around 4.45pm, when a Toyota Yaris Cross driven by a 35-year-old Mosta man and a Benelli motorcycle driven by a 27-year-old Msida man were involved in a collision. 

The motorcyclist was treated at the scene before being taken to hospital, where his injuries were certified as grievous. 

Police investigations are ongoing.
