A 24-year-old man was grievously injured in a traffic accident on the Coast Road in Naxxar.

The police said the accident happened at 5.45pm.

The man was riding a Hysung Mirage that was involved in a collision with a Smart, that was being driven by a 62-year-old woman from St Paul’s Bay.

The police are investigating.
