Motorcyclist injured after late night crash

The accident happened near Rabat

A motorcyclist suffered grievous injuries when he was hit by a car near Rabat late on Tuesday.

The accident happened at Triq is-Sajf Ta’ San Martin at 11pm, police said.

It involved a Mazda 2 driven by a 19-year-old man from Dingli and a Surran Ultra Bee motorcycle driven by the 48-year-old injured man from Rabat.

He was hospitalised in a grievous condition. The police are investigating.
