Motorcyclist rushed to hospital following crash in Lija

Accident happened between Triq il-Mosta and Triq Valletta

A motorcyclist was rushed to hospital on Wednesday morning following a traffic accident between Triq il-Mosta and Triq Valletta in Lija.

The police said the 55-year-old man from St Paul's Bay was driving a Yamaha C110. 

The other vehicle involved in the crash - a Toyota CHR - was being driven by a 32-year-old Eritrean national from Msida. 

The accident was reported at 11am.
