Motorcyclist seriously injured in Naxxar accident

The incident took place at around 6.30pm on Sunday evening

A 31-year-old man was seriously injured in Naxxar on Sunday night after the motorcycle he was driving was involved in an accident with a car.

The incident took place on Triq is-Salini at around 6.30pm, involving the man's Honda motorcycle and a Volkswagen Jetta driven by a 55-year-old Swieqi man.

The motorcyclist was treated at the scene before being taken to hospital, where his injuries were certified as serious.

Magistrate Monica Borg Galea was informed of the case, and an inquiry has been opened. Police investigations are ongoing.
