The carriageway linking the roundabouts of Mdina Road in Qormi and Qormi Road in Luqa was yesterday closed off for a few hours after liquid, suspected to have been paint, spilled out of a car that was being towed, the police said.

Government employees intervened to clean up the road which was re-opened to traffic within a few hours.
