Each MP is entitled to four free Air Malta economy class flight tickets every year (excluding travel on parliamentsary duties), Public Investments Minister Austin Gatt said yesterday. The tickets can be used on any route operated by Air Malta other than Moscow or St Petersburg.

The minister told Robert Arrigo (PN) in reply to a parliamentary question that each MP had to pay airport tax and the Lm4 security tax.

Mr Arrigo said he was asking the question in view of questions raised in the media and elsewhere.
