Prizes were recently distributed to schoolchildren who took part in the educational programme 'Choice' organised by the Malta Tourism Authority.

The programme was launched last November by the MTA's Human Resources and Support Services Directorate with the aim of raising awareness among secondary school students of the careers that exist in the tourism industry.

First prize, an eight-day trip to Prague, was awarded to a team of three students from De La Salle College: Ian Borg, Matthew Brincat and Karl Cortis, who submitted a powerpoint/video presentation covering three of the most important cultural aspects of Malta.
