Mediterranean investment and migration were discussed in Paris on Wednesday when Prime Minister Joseph Muscat met his Tunisian counterpart Youssef Chahed.

Both leaders are participating in the 40th session of the UNESCO General Conference.

The government said both prime ministers agreed that Mediterranean countries should cooperate on migration to ensure that, while saving lives and acting on a humanitarian basis, all international laws and applicable conventions are adhered to.
