The 15th annual BJ's music marathon is nearing its end and Lm3,000 have so far been collected in cash donations at the door.

The beneficiary of the marathon this year is WOW (Wishing Others Well), the social arm of the Millennium Chapel in Paceville.

The money collected will be going towards the extension of WOW, a project that comprises an auditorium, games room and counselling rooms, among other facilities. The work, which is nearing completion, will cost over Lm200,000.

Fr Hilary Tagliaferro is saying a thanksgiving Mass this morning at 9, starting the marathon's 136th hour. Musicians and singers are being invited to turn up and participate in the Mass, which will form part of the marathon, which ends tomorrow.

Anybody wishing to donate Lm1 may send an SMS to 5061-7369, 5061-8079 for Lm2 to and 5061- 8929 for a Lm3 donation.
