Musical recycling

I just wanted to express my compliments to the people of the Ministry for Rural Affairs and the Environment for the fantastic environment-fest held in Sliema.

I was impressed by the whole event, the number of stands and the activities organised to celebrate World Environment Day and create greater awareness of environment-friendly options. They thought of everything, such as inviting Junkfood, led by percussionist Renzo Spiteri, who played a concert on garbage material to show that there is music in everything. That's what I call recycling!

I hope they will hold an even bigger eco-fest next year!
