Karl Fiorini has composed music inspired by literary works by new, young Maltese authors, which is to be premiered at St James Cavalier, in Valletta today and tomorrow at 7.30 p.m.

The premiere, called F'Kull belt hemm kantuniera, is being produced by Inizjamed and features works by Clare Azzopardi, Stanley Borg, Norbert Bugeja, Priscilla Cassar, Bernard Cauchi, Claudia Fiorini, Maria Grech Ganado and Simone Inguanez.

Also taking part are pianist Caroline Calleja, violinist Sarah Frendo, clarinettist Godfrey Mifsud, mezzo-soprano Claire Massa and actors Marcelle Teuma and Toni Attard.

A booklet of the works was designed by Adrian Mamo and the themes were captured photographically by Alexandra Pace.
