Myth Debunked: Are interstellar comets alien spacecraft?

Their true value lies in the wealth of information they provide on planetary formation environments in other star systems

The idea that such interstellar objects could be alien spacecraft has received widespread coverage and has been discussed at great depth.

However, the fact remains that detailed observations of all interstellar objects to date fully conform with our understanding of natural physics, with no radio signals, controlled manoeuvres or artificial structures detected.

These objects are best understood as natural debris ejected from their parent star systems and their true value lies in the wealth of information they provide on planetary formation environments in other star systems in our galaxy.
