APS Bank will be financially supporting selected projects aimed at reaching all those interested in learning more about nature under a five-year agreement just signed with BirdLife Malta.

The NGO is building a reception centre with a view to welcome its first visitors to its Xemxija reserve early next year. The sponsorship will also help BirdLife Malta with its successful Dinja Wahda (One World) campaign in local schools.

The programme is an environmental education project aimed at encouraging students in primary schools to carry out environment-friendly activities for which they are awarded points, with the highest scorer being awarded a shield.
