I would be very grateful if the Naxxar local council takes up Shawn Abela (Parking Rights, November 15) on his suggestion of scheduling a meeting with the residents of the first part of St Lucy Street, in order to discuss the parking problems faced by this street's residents.

I am sure that the council has received more than two complaints on this situation and thus I urge the council to listen to residents' problems with the aim of rectifying the situation. I look forward to a reply from the council on this matter.
