Access Accounting has released a powerful new business intelligence tool as part of Access Office Integration 3. Access Analytics allows financial data to be interrogated and analysed easily, providing on-demand reporting capabilities for managers - without the need for direct access to the accounting package, Access Dimensions.

Access Analytics provides a simple three-step wizard for users to interrogate and create reports from their accounting data using Microsoft Excel. The required information is simply selected from a list and then automatically exported into Excel, where pivot tables and charting tools can be used.

Stuart Allsopp, innovations director for Access Accounting, commented: "Our users have always been able to retrieve and analyse information held within Access Dimensions using Crystal reports.

"Access Analytics takes this a step further by creating data cubes which allow managers to drill down to specific data via interactive management summaries incorporating smart tag elements.

"Cubing has become much simpler since the launch of Microsoft SQL Server 2005. With a cube - which is displayed in a user-friendly interactive Web page - a data history is created with every new file, making comparisons between sales figures, for example, easy to obtain and analyse."

Access Analytics allows users to analyse information within Access Integrated CRM, the launch of which has been timed to coincide with the release of Access Office Integration 3. The facility to interrogate and analyse the customer and prospect database, individual marketing campaigns and sales revenues helps companies realign their marketing and sales strategies where necessary.

Access Office Integration 3 also allows users to synchronise their Microsoft contacts, tasks and diary with the CRM solution and offers mail merge facilities for Microsoft Word. Access Office Integration 3 forms part of a growing range of business solutions developed by Access Accounting, a Microsoft Gold Certified Partner for three years.
