New CEO at the Regulator for Energy and Water Services (REWS)

Maria Aquilina was a former consultant at the energy ministry

Maria Aquilina, a former policy consultant at the Ministry for the Environment, Energy, and Public Cleanliness has been appointed CEO  at the Regulator for Energy and Water Services (REWS).

She succeeds Ing. Marjohn Abela, who has retired.

Aquilina has 11 years of experience in the energy sector, primarily focused on the fuel industry. She has served in both the private and public sectors and was the ministry's consultant for the past three years.
