The newly formed Musical Theatre Choir of the Malta Drama Centre has given its first public performance to coincide with the award of certificates to students who completed courses in theatre performance and theatre for personality development.
The ensemble, made up of 20 elements, was formed last January under the direction of singer Michelle Cachia Castelletti and Kris Spiteri. The choir interpreted titles from The Three Penny Opera, Fame, The Phantom Of The Opera, Joseph And His Technicolour Dreamcoat, Cabaret and other mainstream numbers.

The centre is also offering specialised dance classes for those with a proper disposition and an initial background.
